The bomb jammer is intended for safety of personnel during operations for search and defusing of radio controlled explosive devices with detonating fuses operating in 50…120 MHz and 200…500 MHz frequency bands. It can be used in two options: portable and vehicle mounted and it can be quickly and easily fixed on a vehicle.
The device provides reliable prevention of actuation of detonating fuses, when they can receive coded radio signal for detonation. “PERSEY-12B” in combination with “PERSEY-12A” makes a set “PERSEY-12” that ensures blocking of radio detonating fuses in frequency range 20…500 MHz. The device can be used with all existing means of searching explosive devices and it does not interfere with their operation.
The device with built-in batteries for autonomous operation is delivered in standard attache-case; set of aerials with magnetic mounts for fixing on vehicle is included in delivery set. This device differs from its forerunner device “PERSEY-2MT Plus” by increased integral power and application of batteries with higher capacity that allows higher spectral density thus significantly in-creasing radius of jamming and continuous operational time without charge and, at the same time, the level of radio emission remains safe for personnel.
The device has electronic control (without mechanical relay), which allows reliable commutation of nodes and units and protects batteries unit against deep discharge. The device does not require any tuning and adjustment and is ready for operation after power is switched on.
